·About This Site, Grandia, and What is a Fanlisting·

What is Grandia?
On December 18th, 1997 a company by the name of GameArts released a role playing game on the (now dead system) Sega Saturn by the name of Grandia.

This game tells the story of a boy named Justin who longs to live the life of adventure like the heroes of yesterday. His dreams seem nothing more than just that till one day the Military makes it way to ruins nearby his hometown. Justin, along with his best friend Sue, sneek inside along with the military and, after a bit of exploring, meet with a holographic image of a young woman who beckons them to travel across the world. Once they do and meet her in Alent, she promises to enlighten them on the secrets of the past. The military, desperate for this information as well, follow behind Justin as he travels across the world to the adventure he's always dreamed of. (For more information, try Grandia's Wikipedia article or VLoG.)

Sadly, it wasn't until years later after the game was ported to the Sony Playstation did this game finally see the light on western shores (released on October 28th, 1999).

About this Site
This site was created once I realized the owner of the first Grandia fanlisting let it fall off the face of the earth. As Grandia one of my favorite games of all times, I felt I should show my love by taking up the task to run this fanlisting.

What's a Fanlisting?
From the official 'The Fanlistings' website
A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject.

Now that you know what this site is all about, care to read the rules?
